He was predeceased by: his parent Fred Lawson; and his daughters, Ann Elizabeth Lawson and Janice Marie Lee. He is survived by: his parent Stella Gragg Lawson; his spouse Helen Lewis Lawson; his children, Cheyrl Roig (Rick), Nancy Carroll (Scott) and Steven Lawson (Christine); and his siblings, Juanita Tolley, Mattie Ray Ramsey and Julius Lawson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
