He was predeceased by: his parent Ivey Irene Idol Beard. He is survived by: his grandsons, Jacob Idol of Winston-Salem and Matthew Idol of High Point; his great grandchildren, London, Trevor and Olivia; and his siblings, Jeanne Johnson, Bill Beard, Sandy and J. M. "John" Beard. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
