He was predeceased by: his sister Nancy Redding. He is survived by: his wife Joan Hampton Cavanaugh; his children, David Blake Cavanaugh (Valerie) and Tonya Cavanaugh West (Bret); his grandchildren, Damien Cavanaugh (Zoey), David Cavanaugh (Adria), Julia Cavanaugh Christensen (Brad), Jared Cavanaugh (Katie), Ayla Cavanaugh Williamson (Michael), Joshua Cavanaugh, Quentin West, Trenton West and Lexi West; and his sister Shirley Prevo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
