He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wooten and Inez Wooten; his sister Phyllis Brock; and his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Pittman, Mike Boykin and Carol VonCannon.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie VonCannon Wooten; his daughters, Danielle Wooten (Salem) of Winston, Tiffany Cain (Ryan) of Lewisville and Brittany Nimeh (Tony) of Pfafftown; his grandchildren, Emma Wooten, Caroline, Logan Cain, Lucas and Paige Nimeh; his sisters, Brenda Pittman of Tarboro and Gail Boykin of New Bern; and his brothers-in-law, Dr. Jim Brock of Whispering Pines, Donald VonCannon (Susan) of Winston and Salem. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces.
