He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Stafford and Ethel Stafford (Kiger); his wife Mary Stafford (Collins); his brothers, Bud Stafford and Luke Stafford; his daughter-in-law Donna Sink; and his close friend Herman Walters.

He is survived by: his son Curtis Stafford, Jr.; his grandsons, Joshua Stafford and Zach Sink; his sisters, Linda Gray and Carol Diane Smith; and his sister-in-law Brenda Stafford. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
