She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Taft and Ruth Blue Lemons; her husband Robert "Hoppy" Smith; and her daughter-in-law Martha Smith. She is survived by: her son Randall E. Smith; her sister-in-law Bobbie Smith; her daughter-in-law Joanna R. Smith; and her pet Miss Patsy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
