It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton Bowie of Kernersville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Mathews and Sylvester Roebuck; his adoptive father Napoleon Bowie; and his great-grandparent Carrie. He is survived by: his daughters, Tanya Murphy (Kevin) and Paula Bordenkecher (John); his grandchildren, Morgan Rackley (Brandon), Nandi Murphy, Kevin Murphy, Jr. and Harper Bordenkecher; his great grandchild Carson Murphy; his cousins, Linda and Minnie Ervin; his daughter Georgia; his brother-in-law Paul L. Wright, Sr. of Maryland; his niece Tammera Wright of Maryland; his nephew Paul Wright, III of Maryland; and his cousins, Felicia Davis (family: Hope Workman, Anatoria Jones, Caroline Bailey) and Bishop Mumford of Virginia. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
