She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Hasting and Ruby Bull Gray; her siblings, J. B. Gray, Zane Gray, Reba Fields, Barbara Nance, Gary Gray, Herbert Gray and Don Gray; her husband Robert; and her daughter Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Chris Payne (Frederick Haddad) of Greensboro, Paul (Christina) of High Point and David (Angie) of High Point; her grandchildren, Ryann Donnelly McVey (Christopher) of Greensboro, Patrick Donnelly (Jamie Dinkins) of Greensboro, Lindsay Payne of Wilmington, Kelsey, Alexander, Katie (Tyler Vaught) and Adam of High Point; her stepgrandchildren, Benjamin Haddad and Lesley Morey (Charley) of Frisco, Texas.; and her great grandchildren, Mary Catherine, James, William McVey of Greensboro and Liam Morey of Frisco, Texas..
