He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Hamlin and Mary Collins Hamlin; his daughter Kathy Ann Sherman Hamlin; and his siblings, Shirley Jean Hamlin, Lois Marie White, Wilson Junior Hamlin and Lawrence Gene Hamlin.
He is survived by: his children, Sherrie Renee Hamlin (Jesus Gevara), Tammy Hamlin Bonilla (Rene) and Johnny Lee Hamlin; his grandchildren, Jessica Bonilla, Margel Campos, Sabrina Bonilla, Micheal Gevara and Wendi Bonilla; his great grandchildren, Kevin H. Bonilla, Gabriel Laura, Maribel Laura, Bradley Reyes and Natalie Reyes; and his siblings, Mary Frances Wrenn (Butch), Jerry Wayne Hamlin and Timothy Ray Hamlin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
