It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Woodle Slate (Kernersville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 27, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Gertrude Martin Woodle and William Amos Woodle; and her siblings, Ann Woodle Holmes and William "Billy" Woodle. She is survived by: her children, Tina Swisher (Curtis), Johnny Slate (Hope), Travis Slate (Tracie Lawson) of Kernersville and Todd of Kernersville; her grandchildren, Dalton Slate, Zach Slate, Nick Swisher, Will Swisher, Alanna Slate, Mason Lawson, Savannah Lawson, Caden Swisher, Alyssa Slate and Bella Lawson; and her sister Janet Woodle Stewart of Lewisville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
In the spirit of Brenda's generosity, the family requests that memorials support the local charity of one's choice.
