She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezekiel Erastus Powers and Eugenia McGee Powers; her husband Walter Thomas Parrish; her daughter Brenda Gail Hinson; and her siblings, Jim Powers, Frances Tickle, Paul Powers, Harold Powers and Bobby Powers.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Hellerick (Kevin) of Kernersville; her grandsons, Matthew Hampton (Stacey) and Kenneth Hinson; her great grandchild Darrell Hampton; her sister Martha Garner of High Point; and her son-in-law Wayne Hinson of Trinity.
