She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Sillitoe and Amy Bertha Evans Sillitoe; her husband Mont McCartney; and her siblings, Marge Cook, Pam Sillitoe, Raymond and Harold Sillitoe.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Skelton (Jack), Deborah Holliday, David McCartney (Fran) and Brian McCartney; and her grandchildren, Trish Bolding (Wayne), Nicole Taylor (Steve), Ryan McCartney, Cody McCartney, Charlie Holliday (Laura) and Kevin Holliday. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel (3950 Macy Grove Rd, Kernersville, NC 27284). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the Mt. Gur Cemetery (1050 Cemetery St, Kernersville, NC 27284).
