She is survived by: her husband Gary Cowell; her son Michael Cowell (Angela) of Raleigh, NC; and her grandchildren, Jessica Rowell Kessler (Stephen) of Pasadena, MD, Brittany Dickinson Chen (Steven) of Charlotte, NC, Adam Dickinson of Durham, NC, Anderson Cowell and Miles Cowell of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
