He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Forester and Ethel Jones Edwards; his wife Frankie Marshall Edwards; his daughter Hope Elizabeth Edwards; and his siblings, Irene Edwards Cockerham and Austin Lee Edwards.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Edwards Hill; his granddaughters, Haley Nicole Hill and Kirstin Savannah Hill; his great grandchild Kingsley Nicole Hill; and his sisters, Cressie Edwards Flippin and Nina Edwards Livengood. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
