He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Taylor and Mabel Taylor (Mauk); his wife Nellie "Fay" Taylor; his son Bryant Taylor; his siblings, Lovella, Betty, Fred and Bill; his son-in-law Mike Burnette; and his great great grandchild Kyler Wray.

He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Burnette, David Taylor (Melissa) and Tim Taylor (Janice); his grandchildren, Bobbie Ann, Elizabeth, Keith, Christy, Johnathon, Kati, Greg, Olivia and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Keith, Chris, Chastity, Kayla, Abby, Isabelle, Dylan, Bryanna, Madyson, Leah, Rylan, Karah, Kaily, Natalie, Oakleigh, Nora and Lucy; his great great grandchildren, Kylo and Brielle; his daughter-in-law Patricia Taylor; and his sister-in-law Sarah Moore (Merl).
