He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Hill and Mayzell Boykin Hill; and his sisters, Imogene Murphy and Marvelen Carico. He is survived by: his wife Martha Porter Hill; his children, Joy Hill Copeland, Jill Hill Wall, Jeffrey Hill and William Hill, Jr.; and his sisters, Karen Taylor, Elizabeth Boyette, Sandra Phillips, Linda White, Debra Walston and Sharon Turnage. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kenly Funeral & Cremation Service (103 E 2nd St, Kenly, NC 27542). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the SECU Hospice House of Johnston Health, 426 Hospital Rd, Smithfield, NC 27577.
