He is survived by: his sons, Walter Jackson Hooks IV (Shelby) of Wilson and Dr. Jonathon Woodard Hooks of Northport, Alabama; his grandchildren, Walter Jackson Hooks V of Raleigh and Holly Boswell Hooks of Raleigh; and also Kathryn Hooks Sandifer (Joe) of Tucker, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Kenly Cemetery (608 W 2nd St, Kenly, NC 27542). A reception was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to Kenly Presbyterian Church P.O. Box 727, Kenly, NC 27542 in memory of Jack.
