He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Edwards and Elva Godwin Edwards; his son-in-law Joseph Worley, Jr.; and his brother Kenneth Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Jean Boykin Edwards; his children, Danny Edwards (Tammy), Rhonda Worley, Donna Paul (Michael) and Erin Parrish; and his sisters, Rochelle Wall, Janie Gordon, Patsy Johnson, Georgie Edwards and Bonnie Jo Wall. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two special great-nephews.
