She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Bass and Lillian Dixon Bass; her husband Dallas Vernon Purvis, Jr.; and her sister Janyce Bass Hinnant. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Phillips (Doug), Sallie Jo Boyette (Randy) and Susan Peele (Louis); her grandchildren, Sterling Phillips (April), Ryan Phillips (Shannon) and Ethan Boyette; her great grandchildren, Dallas Phillips and Shaylyn Phillips; her sister Faye Bass Hall; and her siblings-in-law, Harold Hinnant and Patsy Purvis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
