He is survived by: his friend Jedi Master; his spouse Susan Pope Sherrod; his children, Meghan Sherrod of Comfort, Hannah Sherrod of Kenly and Hunter Sherrod of Kenly; his stepchildren, Summer Ivey of Jacksonville, Heather Richardson of Kenly, Misty Kornegay of Wilson and Bobby Ivey of Goldsboro; his parents, Larry Sherrod of Sims and Kay Sherrod of Sims; his siblings, Tracey Sherrod of Bailey and Brian Sherrod (Michelle) of League City; his grandmother Thelma Sherrod of Sims; and also Brad of Bailey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
