He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Clayton and Madge Ballance Clayton; his wife Susan Capps Clayton; and his brother Jimmy Ballance. He is survived by: his siblings, Mike Clayton, Candy Holland (Jackie) and Brenda Ballance.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kenly Funeral & Cremation Service (103 E 2nd St, Kenly, NC 27542). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
