Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Simmons of Kenly, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 97, on February 2, 2021. She was predeceased by: her husband R. A. Simmons; her parents, Lehman H. Johnson and Mabel Jones Johnson; her siblings, Lehman H. Johnson, Jr. and Sulou Wagstaff; and her son-in-law Thomas Heath.

She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Susan Heath of Goldsboro, Ann Pittman (Jerry Davis) of Kenly and Nancy Johnson (Bill) of Four Oaks; her grandchildren, Don Yates, Jr. (Julie), Jason Horne (Sarah), Leah Fulkerson (Will), Mary Katherine Preston (Rick), Patrick Pittman (Kelly), Joseph Stutts (Tiffany), Leigh Ann Stutts and Kevin Stutts; and her great grandchildren, Emily Yates, John Yates, Caleb Fulkerson, Chloe Fulkerson, Jay Preston, Mary Miller Preston, Maggie Pittman, Palmer Pittman and Jayce Stutts.

Masks and social distancing are required.
