With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marla Marie Brind Escobedo (Kenly, North Carolina), who passed away on April 26, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Brind and Betty Parks Brind; her husband Natividad Escobedo; and her siblings, Janet Brind, Edward Brind, Robert Brind, Deborah Brind and Pamela Brind.
She is survived by: her children, Tonya Porter (Calvin) and Larry A. Porter; her grandchildren, Marla Hughes, Evan Green, James Haney and Jerry Porter; and her sister Tesa Brind. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In remembrance of Marla, the family suggest memorials be sent to the American Heart Association PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or plant a flower in memory of Marla.
