Though Lillian May may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lillian May touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack May and Lucille May; her daughter Melannie Taylor Gunter; and her sister Jacqui Butler. She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Graham (Jason) of Kenly and Paula Leigh Storey of Zebulon; her stepdaughter Betty Taylor (Mark) of Naperville; her son-in-law Doug Gunter of Kenly; and her brother John May (Gayle) of Chesapeake, VA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Lillian's memory to either the Senior Ministry or Youth Ministry at Kenly Missionary Baptist Church, 1730 NC 222 West, Kenly, NC 27542.
