He was predeceased by: his parents, John Melville, Sr. and Florence Rose Melville; and his granddaughter Brianna Jean. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hintelmann Melville; his daughter Meredith Melville (Brad); his grandchildren, Haley Aldrich (Maurice) and Mackenzie Melville; and his great grandchild Zoey.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of John.
