He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanford Johnson and Ruby Johnson; and his brother Frankie Brewer. He is survived by: his wife Angela Johnson; his daughters, Dana Pearce (James) and Maegan Williams (Jason); his grandchildren, Haiven Pearce, Julie Pearce, Jacob Williams and Daniel Williams; and his siblings, Mency Paul, Danny Ray Johnson and Wayne Johnson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Watson's Grove FWB Church (8712 Watson Grove Church Rd, Kenly, NC 27542). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Kenly Cemetery (608 W 2nd St, Kenly, NC 27542).
