He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry F. Crumpler and Neppie Godwin Crumpler Jones; his wife Gloria Kay Ward Crumpler; and his son Garry Kent Crumpler. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Crumpler III of Kenly, Holly Gunter (Steve) of Prattville, Heidi Worley (Michael) of Kenly and JoAnn Langley (Donnie) of Elm City; his sister-in-law Doris Barnes (Ellsworth) of Kenly; and his half-brother Kenneth Jones (Anna) of South Carolina. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
