Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Janice Fitzgerald (Kenly, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 71, on April 11, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Whitley and Ruby Howes Whitley of Micro; her nephew Andrew Kirby; and her stepgranddaughter Heather Guffey. She is survived by: her daughters, Anna Fitzgerald (Aaron Grogan) of Clayton and Emily Guffey (Keith) of Campobello, SC; her sisters, Angelia Stancil (John) of Wilson and Pama Kirby of Lucama; her grandchildren, Caroline Windley (Carley), Luther Guffey, Harvey Guffey, Billy Guffey and Aidan Edmondson; her stepson Michael Fitzgerald; and her stepgrandson Holden Guffey. She is also survived by two step-great-grandchildren; several dear nieces and nephews; many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a scholarship fund that has been established in Ms. Fitzgerald's memory.
