He is survived by: his wife Brenda Ford Exum; his children, Kayzandra Exum Bond (Curtis) of Wilson, NC and James Clinton Ford Exum of Kenly, NC; his siblings, Velma Hinnant (Hobbie) of Selma, NC, Waddell Exum (Marcia) of Washington, D. C. and Brendia Wilder of Dudley, NC; his aunts, Bettie H. Tonic of Washington, D. C. and Elizabeth Hinnant of Greenville, S. C.; and his sister-in-law Mona. He is also survived by seven nieces, four nephews, several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
