He was predeceased by: his parents, Selby Vick and Naomi Ferrell Vick; his former wife Dora Holland Vick; his son Jeff Vick; and his brother Kenneth Vick.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Howell Vick; his children, Phyllis Walters (Robert) and Richard Vick (Tammy); his sister Carol Tedder; and his daughter-in-law Carla Vick. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
