It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith Kirby Hansley (Kenly, North Carolina), who passed away on June 18, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Kirby and Mattie Phillips Kirby; her husband Rev. Wingate Hansley; her daughter Dawn Sapp; and her sisters, Marcedes Oliver, Annie Mae Medlin and Merle Kirby.
She is survived by: her children, Luther Hansley (Carol), David Hansley (Mitzi), Jonathan Hansley and Deborah Hansley; and her sisters, Bobbie Holland and Jackie Flowers. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
