She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund M. Pope and Clarkie Rena Pope; her husband George Dixon, Jr.; her daughter Kathy Faucette (Michael); and her sisters, Dorothy Pope Hood and Margie Pope Boykin (Osborne).
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicky Pate of Kenly and Georgia Dixon (Dorothea) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Justin Faucette (Sarah) of Madison, MS and Jessica Pate of Lucama; her great grandchild Elliot Faucette; and her close friend Georgia Cuddington of Fremont.
We respectfully ask those attending the service to wear a facial covering and practice social distancing guidelines.
Flowers are welcomed, or memorial donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association at 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 in honor of Dorothea.
