She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin "Tom" Willoughby and Grace Murray Willoughby. She is survived by: her daughter Nicole Marie Gonzales (Joseph); her grandchildren, Hunter Cole Gonzales and Holden Chase Gonzales; her sisters, Margaret Willoughby Stallings, Nellie Willoughby John and Joan Willoughby Ellington; and her friend Jerry Talton.
In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by a sister, Gracie Willoughby Whitley; brother, Johnnie Melvin Willoughby, Sr.; and nephew, Durwood "Randy" Whitley, Jr. Flowers are welcomed, or memorial donations may be made in to East Wake Church of God, 2709 NC-97, Eagle Rock, NC 27591 or Kitty Askins Hospice Center 107 Handley Park Ct, Goldsboro, NC 27534 in honor of Doris.
