He was predeceased by: his father Robert Harold Peele. He is survived by: his mother Rose Edwards Peele; his children, Jamie Howell (Ben) of Wilmington and Bobby Peele (Lisa) of Kenly; his grandson Jackson; and his siblings, Richard Peele (Carolyn) of Wilson, Mark Peele (Cindy) of Micro and Debbie Diaz (Victor). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be sent to the Micro Free Will Baptist Hinnant Outreach Center 102 W Main St, Micro, NC 27555 or to your local Johnston County First Responder station in memory of Donnie.
