He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Patrick Massey and Lela Ingram Massey; and his siblings, Billy Massey and Helen Butts. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Cooper Massey; his daughter Lynnette Wasilewski (Chris Wasilewski) of Kenly; his grandchildren, Cameron Dae O'Briant, Alex O'Briant, Sabrina Wasilewski, C. J. Wasilewski (Samantha) and Paige Bohne (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Connor Bohne and Remi Wasilewski; and his siblings, James Massey, Jerry Massey, Margaret Wiggs, Jessie Smith, Betty Dale Martin and Joann Creech.
