With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dick Webb (Kenly, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 1, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Webb and Lonnie Baker Webb; his son Gary Webb; and his brothers, Russell "Junior" Webb, Clifton Webb and Tom Webb.
He is survived by: his wife Jerrie Ferrell Webb; his daughter Jacqueline Wright (Steve Bayley) of Wilson; his daughter-in-law Mara Webb of Williamsburg, VA; his grandchildren, Casey Parker (Brian) of Georgetown, DE, Aaron Slawson (Anna) of Wilson, Ronnie Wright, Robert Wright (Erin Rowzer), Ricky Wright of Topeka, KS, Melissa Webb (Shawn Jones) of Yale, VA and Benjamin Webb (Sarah) of Staunton, VA; his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Brzezowski, Zachary Parker, Charleigh Slawson, Lucas Slawson, Ryan Wright, Ronan Wright and Olivia Jones; and his niece Dorothy Jobe Bardin of Stantonsburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Highland Independent Church, 2006 Patterson Way, Wilson, NC 27893 or to New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 5142 Hwy. 58 North, Wilson, NC 27896.
