He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McLain and Myrtle Faye Snavley McLain; and his daughter Lisa McLain Dickey. He is survived by: his wife Faye Pope McLain; his daughter Debbie Powers (Danny); his grandchildren, Delaney Gore (Fletcher), Devan Powers, Dawson Powers (Tori) and McLain Dickey; his stepgranddaughter Leigha Nuss (Allen); his brother John McLain (June); his nephew Johnny McLain (Amy); and his son-in-law Joel Dickey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kenly Funeral & Cremation Service (103 E 2nd St, Kenly, NC 27542). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
