He was predeceased by: his parents, Doc Lane and Louetta Lane; his daughter Amy Lane; and his brother Paul Lane. He is survived by: his wife Judy Parnell Lane; his children, Rayburn Lane and Jennifer Jones (Russell); his stepdaughters, Lisa Langley and Susan Barnes (Keith); his sister Carolyn Waddell (Mickey); and his grandchildren, Jordie Lane (Casey) and Leslie Freemen (David). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Cecil's memory to the Free Will Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 249, Middlesex, NC 27557-0249.
