Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Barbara Jean Hales of Kenly, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 79, on February 2, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Evans and Mildred Evans Aycock; her husband Earl Jackson Hales; and her siblings, Doug Evans, Billy Evans, Harvey Evans and Jo Ann Langston.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Ambrose (TJ) of Kenly, Kathy Kennedy (Robbie) of Selma and Kristy Barefoot (Jeff) of Kenly; and her grandchildren, Rebekah Ambrose, Ryan Ambrose, Caroline Barefoot and Jackson Barefoot.
