He is survived by: his parent Joanna McIver McGowan; his wife Christine McGowan; his grandchildren, Demondra Hall of Kenansville, Shaquetta Hall of Kenansville and Jameel Hall of Kenansville; his brothers, Othel McGowan of Kenansville and James McGowan (Helen) of Kenansville; his son-in-law Clarence Hall of Kenansville; and his daughter Joanna McGowan Hall.
