She is survived by: her children, Robin White (Anthony), LoAngela McKinzie, Roberta McKinzie and Robert L. McKinzie, Jr. (Cheydelle); her grandchildren, Kenneth Chasten, Roderick Chasten, Portia Oakley, Jeffrey Pearsall, Robert L. McKinzie, III and Wynter McKinzie; her great grandchild Jada McKinzie; her sisters, Linda Bradshaw, Joyce Kenan, Diretha McGee and Vernestine McKinzie (JW); her siblings-in-law, Barbara Pickett (Darrence) and Willis Bannerman; her nieces, Angela Fennell (Charles) and Christy McKinzie; and her close friend LaVone Murray.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jack A. Hawes Funeral Home & Cremations (115 N Pershing St, Warsaw, NC 28398). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt Sinai Missionary Baptist Church (259 Jack Dale Rd, Wallace, NC 28466).
