He was predeceased by: his parents, William Heman Hall, Sr. and Annie Jones Hall; his wife Kathryn Quinn Hall; and his siblings, William Heman Hall, Jr., Charles Jones Hall, Sr. and Elizabeth "Betsy" Hall Marley.

He is survived by: his daughter Kathryn Hall Cavenaugh (Henry) of Kenansville; and his granddaughter Eliza Cavenaugh.
