He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Wooten and Priscilla Horner Wooten; and his siblings, Sadie Bell Wooten, Julia Wooten Hines, Nancy Wooten Ward, Julius Wooten, Walter Lee Wooten and Cornelius Wooten, Jr. (Chester).
He is survived by: his sister Priscilla Freeman (Kenneth) of Knoxville, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Delsorie Wooten of Goldsboro, NC, Betsey Wooten of Spring Lake, NC and James Ward of Goldsboro, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the celebration of his life will be private for immediate family and close friends only.
