With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cathy Lanier of Kenansville, North Carolina, born in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on September 5, 2022 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Elwood Howard, Sr. and Mildred Robinson Howard; and her husband Jerry Lanier. She is survived by: her children, Julia Norris (Ted) of Willard, Kimberly Lanier of Kenansville, Mildred Teachey (Ronnie) of Kenansville and Jerry Lanier, Jr. of Willard; and her grandchildren, Jasmine Watson, Sapphire Lanier, Angel Norris, Kyle Norris and Kaylee Hill. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
