He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry "Nub" Jernigan and Linda Adams Jernigan. He is survived by: his children, Cortney Jernigan of Elizabethtown, Brandon Blackwell (Nina) of Autryville, Nickie Dabbs and Scotty Cashwell of Mount Pleasant; his grandchildren, Ella Grace Johnson, Easton Johnson, Bentley Cashwell and Emerie Cashwell; his brother Jerry Wayne Jernigan; his nephews, Austin Jernigan and Colby Jernigan; his former wife Cornelia Hester of Kelly; his caregiver Tracy; and his friends, Cornelia and Tim Hester. He is also survived by his family, his faithfulness to his friends.
