He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert M. Walsak Sr. and Doris Faircloth Walsak; his sister Dottie W. Kilpatrick; his wife Frances "Kathy" Russ Walsak; his sons, Terrance L. Walsak (Kristy) and Thomas M. Walsak (Suzi); his grandchildren, Hailey Fought, Alexandra van Dorsten (Bailey), Tyler Barber (Emilee), Michael Walsak (Meghan), Chandler Barber, Amberly W. Schreck (Gene) and Dixie Barber (Austin); his brother Dennis M. Walsak (Posey); and his brother-in-law Grant Kilpatrick. He was also cherished by great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Haw Bluff Baptist Church (1433 Haw Bluff Rd, Ivanhoe, NC 28447).
