She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gladys Squires and Vada Bigford Squires; and her siblings, Windell Squires and Evelyn S. Carroll. She is survived by: her children, Julie S. Patrick (Barry) of Bolton, Tony E. Smith of Riegelwood and Karen S. Pipkin of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Magen, Jesse and Morgan; her great grandchildren, Isabella, Joshua and Jae; her brothers, William Charles "Tump" Squires of Kelly and Elmer "Tink" Squires (Donna) of Kelly; and her former husband George E. "Buddy" Smith of Bolton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
