It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Gale Green of Kelly, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorin Newton Ward and Elizabeth Green Ward Matthews; her daughter Rebecca; and her sisters, Sarah Burney and Susan Gaskin.
She is survived by: her caregiver Zebbie "Zeke" Leroy Green; her siblings, Cheryl Powell (Walter) of Whiteville, Margaret Hinson (Buddy) of Whiteville and William "Bill" Ward (Gina) of Kelly; her siblings-in-law, Mike Green of Cerro Gordo and Betsy Worthington (Randy) of Whiteville; and her daughter Catherine Dickson (Gage) of Armour.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Union Chapel Baptist Church: 2350 Old Lake Road, Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450.
