He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Claude Burney and Lucy Daniels. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Burney; his sons, Kevin Burney and David Burney (Donna) of Kelly; his brother Fred "Buddy" Burney; and his grandchildren, Jaxson Wyatt Burney, Hunter Bryce Burney, Kayla Todd, Brandon Todd and Andrew Todd.
