He is survived by: his wife Sandy Potter; his children, Carl "Dave" Potter, Jr. (Dawn) of Kelly, Nancy Wilson Utterback of Whiteville, Jody Parks (Gregg) of Leland and Leslie Smith (Johnathan) of Kelly; and his siblings, Lottie Mae Potter, Jerry Potter (Linda) of Kelly and Travis Potter (Sue) of Kelly. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
